April 2024 marks 25 years since Australasian device distributor High Tech Medical was first registered. Formally known as High Tech Laser, the company has remained at the forefront of innovation in minimally invasive aesthetic technologies. In its time, High Tech Medical has welcomed a series of globally esteemed devices into the region, such as the likes of CoolSculpting and HydraFacial. Investments in innovation Commencing in the dental space, High Tech Medical served as one of the main suppliers of dental lasers in Australia. From there, established relationships with Deka and Fotana saw the company expand into lasers and other energy devices in aesthetic medicine. In 2007, they launched the first fractional CO2 laser in Australia with the Deka SmartXide Dot, followed by the launch of CoolSculpting, Hydrafacial and MonaLisa Touch, as well as working with globally-recognised brands such as Ulthera, InMode and Ellipse.
