Last week, professional cosmetics brand MODELROCK opened the doors to its first physical shopfront in a unique partnership with Australian makeup artist, Krystal K.
MODELROCK X KRYSTAL K is located in Revesby in Sydney’s South-West. The flagship store serves as a self-proclaimed lash, cosmetics and tools emporium.
A launch event hosted by Krystal and MODELROCK owners, Raelene Mara and Jeremy Spears took place at the store. The event welcomed over 200 guests including industry and business professionals, media, makeup artists, and family and friends. Entertainment was provided by DJ KTIME and local artist, Jazzy K.
The new store features distinctive pink and black interiors and includes dedicated lip and lash walls. Raelene and Krystal shared their hopes to create an interactive client experience in store via lash applications, lash and makeup classes, and more.

Raelene described the store’s opening as “a dream come true.” “It’s the evolution of bringing what we do with our online store into real life, and ensuring our already die-hard MODELROCK fans have another opportunity to experience the brand, yet also welcome new fans into the fold.”
MODELROCK X KRYSTAL K is not the first project the two brands have partnered up for, having previously collaborated on three lash collections. “It’s been the biggest milestone in our history of our collaborations and we can’t wait to provide the best experience and share our amazing MODELROCK products with every single person that enters the world of MODELROCK X KRYSTAL K!” Krystal said.
“We simply can’t wait to welcome people into the store to stock up their favourite makeup goodies, on a daily basis, and expand upon what we’re offering to ensure we’re covering all of our customers’ needs, and we continue to innovate,” the pair said.
Last year, MODELROCK celebrated its tenth year in production, primarily servicing salons, as well as professional and emerging makeup artists.
