Lycon brings Brazilians to Brazil

On October 15, 2009, Lydia Jordane and Lycon Cosmetics launched its skincare and wax ranges at an exclusive media event at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Lycon Cosmetics CEO and founder, Lydia Jordane, personally attended the launch, which was held in resort surrounds, across from the famous Copacabana beach, where micro bikinis and waxing are the order of the day.

Following the event, which was attended by Brazilian television and movie celebrities, the Lydia Jordane Beauty Lounge was launched on October 23, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Many of Brazil’s elite beauty, lifestyle media and celebrities were personally treated to Lycon waxing and Lydia Jordane treatments during the events. Pictured here is Lydia Jordane (left)with Brazilian actress & TV presenter, Fernanda Pontes.

The company said that after successfully completing the extensive regulatory processes, its expansion into the Brazilian market is an Australian first for locally made waxes and skincare.

In November, Lycon also launched into more European markets, including Eastern Europe, with a number of other countries set to come on board throughout 2010.

The brand now exports to 38 countries around the world.
