Lady Lash has taken home three awards at this year’s Australian and New Zealand Lash Championships. The Sydney salon came in first and third in the Advanced 4D+ Volume Category, while also collected the Sponsor’s Choice Award.
Held in June this year and asses sed online, judges focused on technical correctness, placement, attachment, weight and size of the lashes.
The competition saw hundreds of highly-experienced technicians apply gorgeous lashes before submitting a photograph that displayed the incredible detail of their handiwork.
“The whole salon team got involved in the competition, pretty much everyone entered!” says Lady Lash Director Charlotte Creasey.
“It’s quite a process from choosing the right models, to designing the lashes and ensuring the application was as perfect as it could be, and then getting the right shots – it was a whole-day project!”
Charlotte’s workmanship was behind Lady Lash winning the Sponsor’s Choice Award. The ‘enchanted’ theme saw her paint colourful mermaid scales on the model, making a crown from seaweed and shells to accompany the
Renowned lash experts Rachel Bridges and Pixie Joanna critiqued entrants work while Enchanted Spa and Lash Worx sponsored the competition.
“We were extremely happy with our wins – and would like to congratulate all the other winners in various categories – there is obviously a lot of competition out there and some seriously talented lash stylists in this corner o f the world!” says Charlotte.
