Professional Australian beauty distributor, manufacturer and retailer, INSKIN COSMEDICS has secured backing from Australian Business Growth Fund (ABGF) with the goal of further domestic and global expansion.
INSKIN was founded by Maria Enna-Cocciolone and has been in operation since 2007. The company currently distributes a range of professional skincare and device brands such as O Cosmedics, GINGER&ME, and DermaPen. The company’s head office is based in Sydney.

On the move, Maria said in a press statement: “We have big dreams. To realise these, we need a partner who can organise our thinking, evaluate opportunities, and support us in executing the expansion plan.”
According to ABGF, the fund’s minority investment will be used to support INSKIN as it continues to grow. ABGF will take a seat on INSKIN’s board and be an active investor and strategic growth partner.
Through its global network, ABGF will also help INSKIN prepare for its launch in broader international markets.
Maria added: “With ABGF only taking a minority stake in our business, we don’t have to change who we are or give up control in order to work together. And now I have a female-led team to partner with – I feel confident we will continue to grow with next level heart, passion and market share.”

Ghazaleh Lyari, ABGF’s Co-Head of Investments said: “The skincare industry is crowded, but Maria has established herself as a true pioneer of the industry and carved out her niche in what she has coined as the ‘Cosmedical’ category.
