Over 5,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo, which is being held 17 and 18 July at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, so get in quick and book your tickets now, or you risk getting stuck in a (long) queue.

Those that think ahead and front up with their online ticket, will have the opportunity to skip the queue and enjoy express pre-purchase entry on the day. Sounds good to us!

Entries for the Expo’s Hair Competition and Emendee Nail Competition are also open. Demand was so high last year that more stations have been added to keep up with demand but organisers are still expecting a sell-out so get your entries in quickly!

Now is also the moment to book into the Expo’s Extended Education Program, which will feature seminars presented by leading industry experts. Think Australia Hairdressers of the Year 2015 Dmitri Papas and Justin Pace, makeup stalwart Rae Morris, Men’s Hairdresser of the Year (2013/14/15) Jules Tognini, long hair educator Lorna Evans, hair and makeup artist Sarah Laidlaw, brow genius Jazz Pampling, makeup artist Mia Connor, business solutions professional Julie Piantadosi and barbering expert Lance Liufau.

This year will see a new focus on skincare with the introduction of the Expo’s new Clinical Aesthetics Conference, which will run as part of the Extended Education Program. This 5 hour conference is a must-see for anyone thinking about integrating paramedical and aesthetics services into their beauty salon.
