ASAP Skin Products says they have displayed considerable growth in the skin care category despite challenging economic times.

ASAP Skin Products was founded in 2000 and entered an extremely competitive market. Leanne Stewart, ASAP Founding Director says, “It is not exactly a level playing field in terms of marketing and advertising budgets, yet we continue to grow our market share. Leanne believes one of the key strategies ASAP applies to compete is by focusing on providing ASAP stockists with the tools they need to effectively sell the range. Currently, ASAP has over 1,000 stockists throughout Australia. Leanne emphasises the importance of supplying stockists with an extensive array of marketing, training and promotional materials to assist them in retail sales. Furthermore, she says, “An increasingly important aspect of this is to provide digital versions of these materials that stockists can utilise on their websites and on the various social media platforms that they use.”

With the expanding universe of beauty bloggers online, ASAP believes these independent beauty reviews are an influential group. “You can’t put a price on these types of reviews, they’re real and the audience can detect that,” Leanne says.

ASAP skincare has claimed their competitive price is also a contributing factor to growing sales. “It’s affordable, it’s Australian and it works. We’ve enjoyed significant growth in recent years and I put that down to those simple facts,” Mark Durkin, ASAP Global Sales Manager says.
