Sukin to Plant 2,000 Trees with the Australian Rainforest Foundation

The Australian natural skincare brand, Sukin will partner with the Australian Rainforest Foundation for an upcoming campaign by supporting the planting of 2,000 trees.

According to Sukin, 75 per cent of Australia’s original tropical rainforest has been cleared for agricultural, industry and urban development since the late 1700s. It has been estimated that rainforests only cover just 0.5 per cent of the nation today.

The Australian Rainforest Foundation (ARF) is a not-for-profit company dedicated to protecting, extending and recovering Australia’s rainforests. Sukin is a carbon neutral brand which follows the philosophy that skincare should be environmentally friendly. The brand uses minimal and recyclable packing and is against animal testing or using animal derivatives.

Together, the two companies will raise awareness and much needed funds for a rainforest rehabilitation site in Queensland’s Daintree area.

Sukin will release a Limited Edition of the Botanical Body Wash which will carry the ARF logo in early April. For every sale of each bottle, a dollar will be donated directly to the Australian Rainforest Foundation. The three month fundraising campaign aims to increase awareness of the ARF’s cause and support the planting of 2,000 trees.
