Arch Angel opens in Byron

Australia’s most famous brow tattooing specialist, Amy Jean, has opened her sixth eponymously named salon in Byron Bay.

Amy Jean, the ‘arch angel’ to Australian celebrities such as Roxy Jacenko, Michelle Bridges and Delta Goodrem, says the opening of the salon in “Australia’s home of coastal cool” was a natural progression as her products and services “are tailor-made for adding a touch of glam to the sun, sand and surf lifestyle”.

“Brow devotees can now flock to our luxe new space and step out with brows and lashes that are as picture perfect as the spectacular scenery that defines this coastal paradise.”

She says the Amy Jean Brow Agency in Byron will offer the same bespoke treatments as her other boutiques, including her signature Mist Brow Tattoo (semi-permanent airbrushed brows), Keratin Lash Elevate (semi-permanent lash curling treatment) and popular Henna Brows treatment that uses a vegan-friendly natural plant pigment.

In addition to opening the brow agency in Byron, Amy Jean’s signature salon at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast has also undergone an opulent makeover.

According to Amy, the Amy Jean Privée salon is now encompassed within the tranquil surrounds of the Palazzo Versace Day Spa so that clients “can discreetly combine high- end brow treatments with a day of pure pampering”.

Monique Deveney, Amy Jean’s Queensland creative director who will head up the brand’s team in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay, says the salon’s are focused on “effortless glamour”.

“Semi-permanent brow and lash treatments have broken new ground in terms of time- saving beauty,” she says.

“Here in beautiful Byron our clients can get up, take a dip and still surface from the salty water with beautifully arched brows and long, luscious lashes.

“It’s no-fuss beauty at its absolute best.”

Apart from her brow salons in Sydney (CBD and Double Bay), Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, Amy Jean also regularly hosts international pop-up salons in London, Paris, New York and LA.

She has also recently launched her Privée Collection eyebrow range on Net-a-Porter ,which boasts a global monthly audience of six million female luxury fashion and beauty fans via its weekly shoppable digital magazine.
