Beauty Expo returns to Melbourne

The countdown to Beauty Expo Melbourne has begun with the launch of the website and the release of the first confirmed exhibitors.

Beauty Expo Melbourne event director Julia Erben said the event, due to be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 24 to 25, will give beauty professionals from around Australia the opportunity to “discover the latest innovations from the world of beauty”.

Erben said the need for beauty professionals to “stand out from the competition” is “as strong as ever” with recent Census data showing that the number of Australians working in beauty and fitness services surged by 25 percent from 2011 to 2016.

She said Beauty Expo Melbourne will provide a platform for visitors to gain a competitive edge by learning the latest techniques “in trends like micro-pigmentation, men’s grooming, and brows” as well as discovering products that will satisfy consumer purchasing trends.

“The evidence shows that the Australian beauty industry is growing from strength to strength”, she said

“Professionals stand to gain a wealth of insights and expertise for the year ahead by attending the expo.”
