Chifley Hotel & Spa Potts Point, billed as Australia’s largest urban hotel and spa, officially opened on November 20, 2008, launching five new function rooms, Cursa restaurant, Delta bar and a unique outdoor venue.
The hotel, part of Constellation Hotel Group, houses Body Inc Bathhouse & Spa (formerly the Korean Ginseng Bathhouse), which officially opens late December, early January 2009. The venue boasts over 1500 square metres floor space, with 40 beds, seven spas, steam and sauna, couples and VIP rooms, hair studio and yoga room, as well as a “Now & Zen” lounge.
While retaining traditional Asian treatments, including Korean, Thai, shiatsu and remedial massage, the spa also uses Eminence Organics products and, where possible, products "straight from the fridge", according to Body Inc CEO and Founder, Michael Lloyd-White – who adds that the venue is “the largest urban spa in Australia and, quite possibly, the southern hemisphere.”

Located on the corner of Victoria Street and Darlinghurst Road, Chifley Potts Point opened its doors in February 2008 following a $20 million renovation. The property’s 227 rooms offer views across Sydney Harbour and CBD or over Rushcutters Bay.
Constellation’s fast-growing network of Chifley Hotels will further expand in 2009 with the opening of new properties in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
