Lendan celebrates with Make-A-Wish

Australian hair and skin care company Lendan celebrated the 25th Birthday of the Make a Wish foundation at the Silver Wish Ball in Melbourne.

Lendan director Daniel Tenaglia and his wife Marie (pictured) said they were overwhelmed with the magnitude of the event which included performances by Kate Ceberano, The Leading Men, Peter Cupples and 100% Kylie as well as “an inspirational speech from a Wish Family”.

“The event that Make-A-Wish put on was absolutely phenomenal, inspirational and touching, especially when you hear from a family that has gone through the unthinkable of seeing their child suffer from an illness,” he said.

“Nights like these reinforce the importance of supporting charities such as Make-A-Wish.

“We will definitely be back next year and urge people to join the fight to help children with life-threatening medical conditions.”

Lendan became the first Australian hair and skin care company to partner with Make a Wish earlier this year.

Under the partnership, Lendan will donate $20,000 to the foundation this year and introduce ‘Wishes for Kids’ retail and fundraising awards through the sale of all Lendan hair and skin care retail products”.

The ‘Wishes for Kids Retail Award’ and ‘Wishes for Kids Fundraising Award’ will give Lendan salons and day spas the opportunity to brand their salons and spas around the partnership with marketing tools provided by Lendan.

“Every Lendan hair and skin retail product will bear Make-A-Wish stickers highlighting the partnership and the ‘Wishes for Kids Fundraising Award’ will see the introduction of the Make-A-Wish collection tins in participating salons and day spas.”

Lendan marketing manager Nick Panagiotou said the company chose Make-A-Wish Australia to be its exclusive charity partner as it is “an internationally recognised organisation that goes above and beyond the expectations of the public and those that the foundation was created for; very sick children”.

“We couldn’t be happier or prouder to partner such an amazing organization,” he said.

“We are looking forward to building this new and definitely long-lasting relationship for the many years to come.”
