KRYOLAN Sydney has officially opened its doors, and it’s just as bold, bright and beautiful as you’d expect. Showcasing hundreds of products, the illuminated counters of KRYOLAN’s Oxford Square store are home to a variety of velvety foundations, vivid eyeshadows and eye-catching lipsticks.
“Sydney is the key city of Australia, so it was an obvious choice to open a concept store in the heart of it,” KRYOLAN CEO Wolfram Langer told Professional Beauty.
“We want to be known as the makeup of experts, the makeup you can achieve anything with, however we also want to be the makeup for the disconcerting and professional woman who wants to be a little bit different.”
While the store stocks the eye-catching colours and prosthetics it’s known for, camouflage collection Dermacolour and Jean D’Arcel skin care are also available.
“Kryolan is an elite makeup brand regarded as the makeup industry standard and used in backstage fashion runways from Paris to New York … This makeup that once was only accessible by top models and celebrities is available to Australians – and now to Sydney consumers …” Makeup artist Dianne Murphy, aka Miss Dodo Divine, told us.
“The Lip n’ Cheek stain has a beautiful pigmentation to it and it’s not dry at all,” says Dianne. “I love layering the shimmering powders over them if I’m looking for that extra intensity.”
The complete KRYOLAN range will be available in store, with customers able to create a bespoke foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick and contouring kits.
Occasion, bridal, Dermacolour, drag and theatre makeup lessons and application sessions are also available, not to mention advanced lessons and workshops for professionals in all facets of the industry.
