Indio prohibits their stockists selling brand online

Cosmeceutical brand, Indio Skincare has announced what it says is a first in the beauty industry: salon and spa owners wishing to stock Indio products must sign an agreement prohibiting them from selling the products online.

“Indio is only sold via professional outlets such as salons, day spas and medical clinics. Only qualified skin experts should be prescribing Indio cosmeceutical products,” said the brand’s founder, Scott Michaelson. “A blind Internet recommendation would unacceptably compromise the diagnosis. Consumers should at all times consult their aesthetician to receive the best advice for their skin ensuring the best possible results.”
The 100 per cent Australian-owned Indio range provides skincare solutions for all skin types and skin concerns including premature ageing, menopausal and mature skin, rosacea and vascular conditions, acne and sun damaged skin.

The company asserts that only a professional aesthetician is trained to properly diagnose the skin.
