Crealine H2O officially launched in Australia

Cosmetiques de France are proud to announce the launch of Bioderma Dermo Cosmetics into Australia. Developed in 1977 by pharmacist biologist Jean-Louis Thorel, the range is a bio-dermatology approach to caring for the skin, with the belief that products should assist the skin to regain its original functions and restore its balance, rather than take over the skin’s own natural ability to perform.

The best-selling, now iconic, Crealine H2O represents this approach – using the innovative Micelle technology first developed by Bioderma, a three-in-one product to cleanse, soothe and moisturise, maintaining the natural ph of the skin.

The Make-up Business, headed by Karen Playel, has been appointed the exclusive agent for Crealine H2O to the professional make-up artist trade. Karen, who began her career as a freelance make-up artist, and facialist, is the importer of the first airbrush foundation range, ERA Spray Make-up, and the new Aero Minerale range from Classified Cosmetics, and was a Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Finalist in 2010 in the Innovation category.

Karen said, “We first learnt about Crealine through international make-up artists Lisa Eldridge and of course, our very own Rae Morris, who many have seen use this amazing cleanser during her presentations and workshops, and celebrity Kylie Minogue who regularly stocks up when she’s in Paris.

“To be asked to be involved with Bioderma and a product like Crealine is very exciting. It’s always been a priority for me when representing any product, that it is unique and actually works with the skin, and the Bioderma range is a perfect example of this.

“Crealine was, and remains a true innovation with its amazing ability to remove make-up in seconds, leaving the skin prepped ready for make-up re-application if needed, which is why its been embraced so strongly by make-up artists, models and celebrities. They all love it – It’s simple, and without the need to rinse the skin, it allows make-up artists to work much more effectively and confidently, knowing that the skin is cared for, which is of course an important consideration when using any product on a client’s skin. For models and celebrities, it avoids the irritation they often face from constant make-up changes while working which can be disastrous for their skin.”

“I’m also looking forward to bringing other Bioderma products to artists – It’s a great advantage for them to use dermo cosmetics in their make-up applications. It shows they care about their client’s skin,” added Karen.

There’s Crealine AR which is an anti-redness cream to immediately reduce the appearance of redness, and also Sebium Mat, an anti-shine pre-make-up base, so make-up lasts much longer without the tell-tale T-zone shine, both of these actually ‘treat’ the skin as well as providing the topical benefits.

For professional make-up artists and therapists, we are offering great trade prices – so everyone can have Crealine in their kit.
