50,000 reasons to celebrate the Gentle Series

Syneron Candela is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Gentle Series with a once-in-20-years sales offer.

Salons which purchase a Gentle Lase Pro U or a Gentle Yag Pro U (single wavelength device) before September 9 will receive an upgrade to a Gentle Max Pro U (dual wavelength device) at no extra cost – a saving of over $50,000.

Announcing the offer, Syneron Candela Australia marketing manager Mike Reid said the company was extremely proud of the Gentle Series which was one of most popular cosmetic laser devices around the world and was therefore celebrating its Birthday with the special offer.

The device is used for permaenent hair reduction, the removal of pigmented and vascular lesions and wrinkle reduction.

Currently there are over 20,000 Gentle systems in operation in 86 countries around the world including over 900 in Australia and New Zealand.

Reid said the laser’s popularity, particularly with major players in the salon market such as Laser Clinics Australia, Australian Skin Clinics, Evolution Laser Clinics,  Silk Laser Clinics, Clearskincare Clinics, MySkin Laser Clinics, Results Laser Clinics and Eden Laser Clinics, was due to the simple fact “that it works”.

“Clinics use the Gentle Series devices because they love the speed and predictability – and the fact they can tell a client how many treatments it will take to remove their hair.”

He said now was also the ideal time for salons to invest in the laser as US research has shown that “consumers are very open to laser hair removal”.

The research by the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery found that nine percent of the population has had a laser hair removal treatment while 52 percent are considering it – and the figures in Australia are likely to be similar.

Reid concluded that the laser was also popular because it enabled the majority of salon owners to see a return on investment within just 12 months.

Launched into Australia in 1998, the Gentle Series lasers were among the first medical aesthetic lasers to be introduced into the country .

Mathew Green, the managing director of Synderon Candela Australia, says the key to the lasers’ ongoing success despite the introduction of many others onto the market is the fact that the Gentle lasers are the “Gold Standard for laser hair removal in all Fitzpatrick skin types” and can also treat a range of other aesthetic issues including pigmentation, spider veins and vascular lesions.

Furthermore Green is confident that the Gentle series will, “without a doubt”, still be the Gold Standard in another 20 years.
