This Dreamy Space Combines Beauty Treatments With a Boutique Concept Store

Situated in Sydney’s stylish Paddington is FENN – an aesthetically-pleasing and unique beauty, wellness and lifestyle destination designed much like a modern mood board.

Founded by Australian skin therapists Clare McColl and Nicole Manning, FENN plays part luxury beauty salon, part boutique retailer. The space hosts clients for a series of high-end skin treatments, including nourishing and enzymatic facials, light therapy, hot stone massages, kinesis, and more.

Cream walls and modern fixtures make FENN a must-see beauty destination

A retail shop front makes for an enticing waiting room pre-and-post skin treatment, where clients can peruse a range of retail products across beauty, health and home categories. Some of the professional beauty brands available to purchase include Medik8, Omnilux, Rationale, Sodashi and Emma Lewisham; brands that more often than not tread lightly on the Earth.

On entering the space, guests arrive to an earthy, terracotta reception desk set against velvety cream walls and low-lying ceilings. Tall windows and drop lights create subtle shadows across the walls. The mood is quiet and the pace is slow; a space uncluttered by the noise of the outside world. Treatment rooms are strategically bare and encourage restfulness in the clients who enter them.

Clare and Nicole originally joined forces after “connecting over their shared love and deep understanding of holistic skin health,” a press release on the business states. It’s with this in mind that the FENN team aims to tailor skin treatments to their clients’ individual needs.

“[Clare’s] approach encompasses clinical modalities, whilst holding space for both contemporary and traditional techniques focusing on efficacy and integrity. Clare’s passion lies in seeking out practices and products from across the globe that provide the purest ingredients and visible results.” For Nicole, FENN provides her an opportunity to showcase “her ability to understand client’s skin and curate a specialised approach which realises skin goals.”
