Gold Coast makeup artist, Eve Connelly’s company, Evolve Make-Up is now offering advanced workshops in makeup training for industry professionals.
The workshops are being held monthly and include sessions on product knowledge and application, professional hair styling, advanced photographic workshops and advanced airbrush training workshops.
Each workshop caters for a maximum of four to six students; ensuring one-on-one intensive training by leading industry educators.
The six-hour hands-on workshop introduces makeup artists to the Evolve range and covers topics including understanding colour, contouring, and avoiding and fixing mistakes. The workshop also teaches application techniques unique to Evolve products, as well as the latest trends in fashion and wedding artistry.
Evolve is also running advanced photographic workshops hosted by haute-couture designer, makeup artist, stylist and photographer, Richard De Chazal. Covering topics from high fashion to wedding and special events, this intensive one-day workshop offers practical and immediate visual critique. Learn on-set etiquette, planning and designing, as well as photographic makeup for both colour and black and white photographs. Attendees will receive a CD of their work and two A4 prints for their portfolio.
Evolve will also host weekly workshops and monthly trade days for professional makeup artists and retailers. Trade days are an open house event offering tips and discounts on kits.

The workshops are held at Evolve Make-Up’s new showroom, warehouse and training premises, at Shop 4/106 Bundall Road, Bundall, Queensland.
