The two day program was held on the first weekend in June with stand-up educators including Lucas Dowling and Bernadette Beswick. The deliberately smaller classes allowed each student to be personally mentored through each of the six demonstrated and practiced haircuts.

Classic cutting is an introduction into systemised technical cutting with an objective to have students grounded in the knowledge and fundamentals of precision cutting. Students covered a wide range of precision aspects with a strong focus on gaining an understanding of the ‘why’ behind what they were doing and to develop effective commercial client-based skills.
