The first trend forecasting website dedicated solely to the beauty and packaging industries has been officially launched.
The new site, Beautystreams.com, combines “expert trend forecasting complete with original inspirational photo shoots and multi-sensory videos, comprehensive image bank, trend reports, and daily news”.
Created by trend expert Lan Vu (previously creative director for New York trend companies Stylesight and Here&There whose clients included Estée Lauder, Lancome, Revlon and Max Mara), Beautystreams.com aims to be an “an indispensable one-stop site for anyone who works in the beauty and packaging industries and needs to be the first in-the-know with the latest trends and industry news”.
"While there are many websites dedicated to fashion trend-forecasting, Beautystreams.com is the first of its kind to cater uniquely for the beauty and packaging industries," explains Lan Vu.
She says that Beautystreams focuses on global macro and micro trends in the beauty and packaging industries with a three-pronged approach – Insight (sociological antenna tracking macro trends across diverse industries), Inspiration (compelling forecasts to inspire beauty product development and packaging) and Intelligence (up-to-date trade reporting and expert trend analyses).
