Switch Funky has appointed Kylie Clare as its Minx Master Stylist and Educator for Tasmania representing its brands Minx Nails, Bellissima Gel, Famous Names and Sara Happ.
Kylie has owned and operated a very popular Nail business is Launceston for 15 years and has been a senior Creative Nail Design educator for 10 years prior to joining the Switch Funky team.
Kylie is also a government accredited trainer in both nails and beauty and teaches at TAFE in Tasmania several nights a week.
Her vast talents are highly sought after in the Fashion industry and she was recently called upon to do an Australian Vogue Shoot for Minx Nails.
She also headed up the Nail Partner program at the catwalk Fashion Shows held at the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo for Switch Funky.
Minx Nails was Reed Exhibitions’ official partner for the catwalk fashion shows at the Expo and Kylie was responsible for design selection, shaping, applying and decorating the fabulous nails seen on the many models on the catwalks.
She used a range of exclusive Minx designs including flowers with crystals and black with multicoloured pulse lines and was joined backstage by Janice Jordan and Dawn Lynch Goodwin, the inventors of Foil Nails and the co owners of Minx Inc, who had flown in from California especially for the show.
Kylie said she is excited to be joining Switch Funky “which without a doubt distributes the most cutting edge and exciting group of professional nail products currently available."
“I am really looking forward to sharing my expertise and my passion for nails. We have a great fashion week program “Minx in Fashion" for the coming year that I'll be heading up so I'm really excited about that” she said.
