Laser Hair Removal Device Again by DEKA to Host Workshop This Week

Australian aesthetic equipment supplier, High Tech Medical will host a live workshop in Sydney this week to debut its latest device – Again by DEKA – to salon and clinic owners.

Again has reportedly earned its stripes as the world’s fastest hair removal laser in the world. The device is said to perform full body hair removal in as little as 25 minutes. The device can also treat vascular lesions, pigmentation, non-ablative skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, leg veins, pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB) and onychomycosis.

The device’s Australian launch aligns with recent data that found that the Australia laser hair removal market size is expected to reach $USD2.23 billion ($AUD3.47 billion) by 2028, registering a CAGR of 6.7 per cent over the forecast period.

Again combines two universal laser wavelengths: Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser. The device also utilises DEKA’s unique built-in MOVEO technology, designed to ensure procedures are as fast, effective and pain-free as possible.

According to a press statement released on the machine, the 755 nm Alexandrite laser is the ‘gold standard’ for laser hair removal and is the only laser that works effectively on fine to medium light (but not grey) hair.

Again is reportedly the world’s only FDA-approved Alexandrite laser for skin types 1 – 6. Therefore, it has capacity to service those with higher Fitzpatricks types. The device can also be used on both the face and the body.

1064 nm Nd: YAG laser acts on the deeper layers of the skin. This can help to effectively eliminate defects caused by small blood vessels (hemangioma, capillary varicose veins, telangiectasia, and so on).

The Again by DEKA workshop will run on Wednesday September 27 at Novotel Darling Harbour from 6:30pm.

High Tech Medical is also the Australian distributor of iS Clinical skincare, and other aesthetic devices such as Sofwave, SmartPico, and EndyMed.
