Alison Atia, Skin O2 managing director, took part in Export Week in both Brisbane and across regional Queensland. An event that focus on aligning Queensland trade industries with international trends, the Queensland Trade Investment Expert team met and supported many local businesses.

Skin O2, as a booming Queensland business, seized this opportunity with a busy week of celebrations, business lunches, meetings and hearing all about global trade news. The week ended with the Premier’s Gala Annual Export Awards held in Brisbane on the eve of October 24th. A multitude of international trade commissioners were present at the awards and Skin O2 had the pleasure of discussing insights into Asian global trade opportunities.

“I was excited to hear about the booming growth sector of medical aesthetics and medial tourism in Taiwan and Korea from the commissioners,” Alison said.

“We are looking forward to visiting these regions to see the development and growth that both of these governments have invested to support the busy trade from affluent mainland China beauty tourists who seek a one-stop shop and medical holiday makeover.”

“We at Skin O2 are also looking forward to seeing Angela To again at the busy Hong Kong Cosmoprof Beauty Expo in November.”
