Think CEO, Linda Brown, says Health and Wellness continues to evolve and it was “important to have a leader in the field to help us navigate the future.”

Speaking about his new role, Findlay said the faculty’s four colleges all help people in some way, “whether it’s a beauty student interested in helping cancer victims with skin issues or a counselling student wanting to work with disadvantaged families.”

He added that courses and colleges are expanding to cater for more students wanting to study online, on campus, or both.

Findlay brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He was most recently director of the Health Faculty at the Southbank Institute of Technology. He has also held professorial roles at the University of Queensland and Griffith University where he was chair of molecular diagnostics.

The Faculty of Health and Wellness comprises four colleges specialising in beauty, natural therapy, health science, social science and counselling.
