Princess Kate wears Make Up Store

There was always speculation that Kate Middleton was going to wear make-up from Make Up Store on her wedding day, but thanks to the British news website, News of the World, it has been confirmed that she did.

It was also reported that Kate was going to do her own make-up for her big day (I know! It seems unbelievable, right?). Although exceptionally skilled with the make-up brush, Kate sourced celebrity make-up artist Arabella Preston for help.

Kate used Make Up Store Microshadows to bring out her crystal green eyes, and her radiant face was set with Make Up Store Micronized Compact Powder.

Replicate Kate’s stunning yet classic look with the below products.

For a flawless and shine-free base: use oil free Matt Foundation in Vanilla, and ensure you set with Kate’s choice; Micronized Compact Powder in Translucent.

For glamourous eyes: use Make Up Store Microshadow. Use Brown Sugar over entire eyelid to open the eyes, Spruce for middle eyelid, and Forrest for outer corner and lash line. Run an eye pencil in Vanilla on the inner rim of the eye. Use Cake Eyeliner in Black right above the lash line and along the bottom lash line for definition (mix with Mixing Liquid for a waterproof effect), and finish off with a coat of mascara using Max Lashes in Black.

For a fresh royal glow: use blush in Fresh through the apple of the cheek, and use blush in Nut for a soft contour under the cheekbone.

For sweet royal lips: use lip pencil in Sauvage over the entire lip, then complete the look with Lipstick in Pretty, and set with Micronized Compact Powder in Translucent. Then re-apply another coat of lipstick.

What’s more, you can get the ‘Royal Look’ at any Make Up Store by booking a session with a professional make-up artist who will re-create the elegant and timeless look of Kate on her wedding day. ($50 booking fee redeemed with product of your choice).
