Napoleon Perdis starts TV Retailing with NP Set

Napoleon Perdis and TVSN will join forces to deliver NP Set live into the living rooms of 7 million Australians on April 28th. Napoleon will present his NP Set products in live-format TV segments with a focus on practical makeup demonstrations with a before-and-after wow factor.

The move into TV retailing is an Australian first for the brand and follows in the footsteps of Napoleon’s launch of his signature line on QVC last year, the US counterpart to TVSN. “I’m really excited to be able to present NP Set to the TVSN customer – and live!” says Napoleon. “TV shopping really is the way of the future and has had a huge resurgence in popularity, thanks to personality brands like Rachel Zoe, Patricia Fields, Cindy Crawford, and red-carpet designers Badgley Mischka.”

The move into TV retailing appeals to Perdis beyond the obvious sales opportunity. “Presenting NP Set in a practical, live format with my team and I actually doing makeup on real women will really help us spread the NP Set brand messages of glamour on the go and getting the look but keeping the change,” Napoleon adds. “It’s a great way to show exactly how the products work, to be able to educate and entertain the customer. In fact I call it ‘edutainment.”

TVSN’s general manager Dionne Sinay, adds: “We couldn’t be more excited that Australia’s very own King Of Colour will be on our screens launching the NP Set brand and teaching women all around Australia how to create gorgeous and timeless makeup looks.”

A natural next step for the rapidly growing NP Set brand, the TVSN partnership builds on Napoleon’s ever expanding beauty empire, which has recently added Big W and eBay as retail partners.

Napoleon Perdis for NP Set will appear live on TVSN on April 28 and 29, 2012.
