International fashion icon Karl Lagerfield has teamed up with Australia’s ModelCo Cosmetics to create a collection of more than 50 ‘Illuminated Beauty’ products for face, eyes and lips as well as accessories.
The products in the range, which is due to be released on May 14, combine “ModelCo’s high-quality formulas and innovative, technical packaging with Karl Lagerfield’s sophisticated, modern and cool artistic aesthetic”.
Channelling the ‘Illuminated Beauty’ theme, every product in the range is illuminated through packaging or “an innovative formula”.
Karl Lagerfield CEO Pier Paolo Righi says the brand is excited to inspire its customers with the innovative collection.
“It translates Karl’s vision and brand spirit into iconic cosmetics.”
Shelley Sullivan, founder and CEO of ModelCo, says she is honoured to fuse ModelCo’s beauty knowledge with Karl to produce the makeup collection.
“Each product carries ModelCo’s signature innovative design.
“The limited edition collection is a tightly edited, highly polished range of beauty products that are suitable for all skin types.”
The collection will be promoted with a ‘Kiss Me Karl’ campaign featuring British model Stella Maxwell alongside an animated 3D character of Karl Lagerfeld.
It will be sold in Karl Lagerfield stores around the world as well as Nordstrom in the US; at Douglas, Cult Beauty, Nocibe and Galeries Lafayette in Europe; and at selected retailers throughout the Middle East.
