Bodyography sponsor Miss World and other beauty events

The Bodyography makeup artists have been very busy so far this year sponsoring beauty events, with some of the highlights being Miss World, ISO Hair Show and Glamour 2011.

Miss World

This year, Bodyography was pleased to sponsor Miss World Australia 2011. A team of 10 Bodyography makeup artists created the elegant looks for Miss World Australia which were held over 4 days in Melbourne from August 24th – 27th.

This is the first time that bodyography has sponsored Miss World and comes at a great time as Bodyography approaches its 3rd birthday in Australia. "We get called to these events not only because of great products but also due the professional team that we have on board and their ability to deliver results in high pressure environments with precision,” said Bodyography Director Rob Tamburro.

Miss World Australia exemplifies beauty, talent, intelligence and "Beauty with a Purpose", which lies at the heart of the Miss World pageant. 100% profit raised through the Miss World Australia pageant is donated to Australian charities. The pageant aims to create exceptional role models who will serve as ambassadors to charity, enrich the perception of beauty and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women while positively impacting their communities.

ISO Hair Show

The Bodyography team assembled again on the 22nd August for ISO hair's latest hair show ISO Ink Show featuring international artists Ben Mollin & Kelly Baumgartner. For Bodyography it was a pleasure to work with Ben and Kelly who brought a new dimension of creativity and trends from outside Australia. Ben from Chicago USA and Kelly from Vancouver Canada entertained the crowd with the latest styling trends leading the catwalks in North America, with Ben's focus being texturising. Bodyography Artists Hayley Lee and Kirby Keipner were on hand to deliver the smokey eyes look which blended in well with the environment the girls were working in. The event took place at the old Spotswood pumping station which was first commissioned in 1897. The show was an overall success with many Bodyography fans present.

Glamour 2011

July 2nd saw the Bodyography team assemble for the second time to sponsor Glamour 2011. The fashion event held in Melbourne helped raise over $10,000 to facilitate extra sporting grounds and equipment for children living in the western suburbs. Organisers of the event held a fashion parade which featured many of Melbourne leading designers, including Robb & Lulu, Vezzano couture, Intimo and Chipo & Baxx just to name a few. In total, the Bodyography artist team created the looks for 8 designers and 30 models, each with their own theme. The looks varied from simply smokey eyes to colourful eyes, big lashes, and bronzed beauties.
