True Solutions International has taken on distribution of Italian spa brand, Comfort Zone, officially launching it to the media yesterday, April 22.

Comfort Zone, which was initially distributed in Australia by John Pritchard International, currently boasts distribution in 45 countries.

True Solutions International’s Sales and Marketing Director, Mandy Gray, said the company was interested in Comfort Zone because the brand offered, “more than just a facial. It’s more of an experience – and it is that experience that people are looking for.”

Hugues Le Grand, International Director for Comfort Zone (pictured here with Mandy Gray), elaborated, saying the brand is, “not just a skincare brand for distribution in spas. It is designed specifically for spa. This makes it something very unique. It is a complete brand with professional and retail products for facials, body and wellbeing rituals, plus accessories including teas and candles. It is for women, men and children.”

During his presentation, Le Grand explained the significance of the brackets included in the [comfort zone] logo: “they are meant to represent a unique space for oneself,” he said. “They are an invitation to de-stress, detoxify, rejuvenate and re-energise. They also represent two open hands offering loving, professional care.”

Le Grand said the brand’s philosophy is driven by science and nature, with ongoing research an important factor in brand development. Comfort Zone also strives to be sustainable, participating in Italian eco-enterprise, LifeGate’s “zero impact” initiatives. An EcoCert organic spa range will be released in the near future, Le Grand said.

Being a global brand, training is important to ensure consistency of the experience, Le Grand explained. He also announced that the Park Hyatt in Sydney will be the first Australian hotel to partner with Comfort Zone, joining other hotel chains around the world, which include Hilton, Starwood, Westin, Sheraton and the Ritz Carlton.

During Le Grand’s presentation, two therapists performed Comfort Zone treatments before the audience.
