The Purist Company, creator of the leading natural skin and hair care brands [A’kin], Al’chemy and Pure Therapy assumed the management of the Neostrata brand in Australia and New Zealand on July 1, 2011.
The Neostrata brand has experienced much success and growth under the representation of Wellvalue Healthcare (formerly Hamilton Laboratories) for the past 15 years. The recent acquisition of the Hamilton brands by Valeant Pharmaceuticals has resulted in the need to establish a new partnership and management of the Neostrata brand.
This partnership follows the completion of The Purist Company’s transformation of their business model, where its own field force was implemented to service pharmacy and health food in the Australian marketplace.
“Brands under The Purist Company portfolio are highly efficacious and Neostrata is no exception. As illustrated in the recent launch of the Pure Therapy range, The Purist Company will continue to deliver natural and effective products. However, we also recognised the need from consumers who wanted safe, effective, quality products that were not necessarily all-natural and we saw Neostrata as a complementary fit to our existing dermatologist-tested and clinically-proven products,” says Andrew Lawrey, Group General Manager, The Purist Company.
The Purist Company and Wellvalue Healthcare are working closely to ensure a smooth transition for its customers. From July 1, all product and order-related enquiries should be directed to The Purist Company.
