Sydney Beauty Expo: Inspirational Light at Spa Vision

Bringing the future of spa design to Sydney, the brand new installation Spa Vision will ignite a truly inspirational light at the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo. Four spa themed interior designs will be the focus of Spa Vision, representing the idea that the future of the industry is about creating a unique experience for the client through interior design and themes as well as through transcending treatments.
Spa Vision
Spa Vision was born from the notion that successful spas centre on a concept that makes them unique. The unique feature, whether it is an interior design element or unique feature piece, is used to personify the character of the spa, transporting the client into a world away from reality.

Spas of the future are set to be artistic destinations, with a spa’s centre being highly influenced by interior design pieces that give the space ‘design significance’.

The Spa Vision installation at the 2012 Spa & Beauty Expo will showcase key global spa trends, translating them into four aspirational ‘feature pieces’. Each artistic interior decoration will create unique spa experiences that owners can take away to inspire the design of their own salon:

‘Vision of Bliss’ 4 Senses Lounger – a trend that takes sounds, music, light, colour and vibration therapies to the next level. Not just the background ambient accessories of a spa, they are now the main event, immersing clients in the world of relaxation far more quickly.

‘Retro Glam Vision’ 1950’s inspired Mirror – beauty and grooming is booming in the market with a trend called “glambition” where clients are looking to be glammed up and beautified more than ever before. The future of the industry will see a return of ultra high-end spa/ beauty experiences where ‘old school’ pampering will set the scene.

‘Vision of the Elements’ Salt Bed – salt therapy, a widely used natural remedy that has been used for several centuries, will be re-born in the modern world in the form of a salt bed that utilises therapies of the elements.

‘Design Vision’ Pedi Station – a new age of medi-pedi spas have emerged focusing entirely on ‘foot fitness’, a trend that has come about as the result of high-heel pain. It’s time to put pedi on a pedestal, where clients will continue to look for specialists in healthy feet programs, as well as implementing this new focus on foot-care treatments as a design feature of the spa.

The interior design pieces at Spa Vision are brought to Australia jointly by the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo and Comfortel Furniture. "Our mission is to bring amazing designs from around the world to Australia in order to add a point of difference to your business. " Barry Singer, Comfortel Managing Director.

The expo continues to fulfil its mission to equip salon and spa professionals with everything they need in preparation of the growing trends and demands that continue to shape the future market. “The Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo is the source of inspiration and a pivotal event for every beauty and spa professional looking forward,” Julia Erben, event director says of the 2012 show – ensuring a successful future for every salon in this ever changing industry.
