Pure & Green Organics, the first Australian beauty brand to be endorsed by Planet Ark, will support and take part in the National Tree Day campaign to be held this Sunday, July 31, 2011. Prize: Pure & Green Pamper Pack

“Our Planet Ark endorsement has given us super-hero status in the beauty world. Like superman’s badge of honour, our endorsement means that both our packaging and ingredients don’t harm the environment. Now we have another opportunity to show Mother Nature how much we care,” says Grace Culhaci, founder and CEO of Pure & Green Organics.

National Tree Day was co-founded by Olivia Newton-John and Planet Ark in 1996 and since then more than two million volunteers have planted over 15 million native trees and shrubs.

National Tree Day sites have been planned all around Australia and include a whole range of activities from planting native trees, removing weeds, information sessions and bushwalks.

What’s more, by registering your attendance at a Tree Day Event via the Planet Ark website here, participants can enter a draw to win one of five certified organic pamper packs supplied by Pure & Green Organics.

Pure & Green Organics will be attending the tree planting site at Sydney Park on Euston Road, St. Peters, Sydney between 10am and 12.30pm and will give out sample sachets of its certified organic hand & nail cream nourished with fair-trade cocoa butter to keep hands deeply nourished and hydrated throughout the event.
