What do you get when you put the most respected Australian trade beauty magazine together with the year’s most epic beauty event?

A whole lotta beauty know-how, that’s what.

Next year, Professional Beauty magazine will be teaming up with Reed Exhibitions to support Salon Melbourne as the event’s exclusive media partner, alongside sister beauty titles Instyle and Spa+Clinic.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Professional Beauty as one of our official media partners for Salon Melbourne 2015. We have a range of exciting  opportunities for visitors – from education to new feature areas and product innovations across the areas of beauty, medi, health and spa – which we’re pleased to be communicating through this partnership,” says Salon Melbourne event director Amelia Coote-Harris.

Set to take place early next year (March 1 – 2), the annual two-day event will showcase the beauty and hair industry’s latest trends, cutting edge products and industry icons.

“The partnership came about as a natural synergy between the well-established Reed and the industry’s leading B2B publication,” says Professional Beauty magazine’s managing editor Sarah Bowing.

“It is important for Professional Beauty to support this event, and continue to do so, to lend weight to both our reasons for being: salons and their suppliers.”

Industry professionals can expect to see unity between the event’s live action on the floor and pre and post show coverage via Professional Beauty’s magazine and website.

“Significant numbers of salon owners and managers pass through the doors over the expo weekend and huge amounts of business are done, the effects of which filter into all aspects and areas of the beauty industry. We are delighted to be the exclusive media partner of a true win-win situation,” says Bowing.

Next year at least 8,000 visitors are expected to attend the event, which will offer an impressive line-up of educational talks with industry stalwarts, including makeup master Rae Morris and X Factor Australia makeup director, Martin Bray.
