Japan gears up for Beautyworld 2011

Beautyworld Japan 2011 will take place May 16th – 18th at the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre known as Tokyo Big Sight.

As Japan’s largest international trade fair for the beauty and spa industries, Beautyworld Japan brings together every imaginable beauty-related business to showcase the very latest in innovative products and services.

The 2010 trade fair produced a record total of 54,680 visitors, a growth by more than 2,500 visitors compared to the previous year.

This year’s event featured 639 exhibitors representing 22 different countries and regions from around the world.

Beautyworld Japan has earned a well-deserved reputation for being the perfect platform to meet influential decision-makers from various beauty-related businesses.

The most recent visitor survey found that over 80% of all visitors had partial or full responsibility for product purchasing.

Japanese and foreign exhibitors alike have enthusiastically commented that this trade fair draws many key industry players and results in increased business activity.

The exhibition venue itself is arranged into zones according to nations and regions and product categories to ensure the most efficient meeting environment for exhibitors and visitors.

In 2011, there will be a total of 13 different product category zones as Beautyworld Japan is committed to improving each year’s trade fair by spotlighting the latest market trends.

The highly acclaimed “Natural & Organic Zone” was introduced at this year’s trade fair and is expected to be one of the most popular attractions again next spring.

Expectations for the 2011 fair are greater than ever with increased coverage of the domestic and international beauty scenes highlighting next spring’s three-day event which opens on May 16th.
