Co-Founded by Maureen Bartlett and Shannon Earls, Encore Beauty has been a mainstay in the beauty industry for the past ten years, when it to launched Serge Louis Alvarez, a professional and natural makeup and skin care range, to the Australian market. The company has since rounded out its offering with the introduction of Kadalys, Massada, Indemne and TOOFRUIT.

This is a big moment for the company, which celebrated its 10 years in business by graduating its International Certificate Class of 2015 last Friday night. Graduates received their certificates from the Mayor of The Hills Clr, Dr Michelle Byrne.

“After nine months of intensive training covering all aspects of makeup artistry, the quality of the 2015 students is exceptional, “says Shannon Earls, General Manager for Encore Beauty. “Their final accomplishment of learning was creating some ghoulish looks for the Twitter Corporation at their Halloween party at the end of October.”

Created by the makeup master, Serge Louis Alvarez, the SLA Academy offers the International Certificate Course, which runs from February 2nd 2016 for nine months. This course covers all elements of makeup artistry – including bridal, photography, period, fashion, body painting and special effects for film and TV – and provides students with an internationally recognised certificate.

The Academy also offers Makeup Masterclass courses for industry professionals and outlets currently selling the SLA Paris range. The two-day Bridal Makeup and Hairstyling workshop for makeup artists have both proven popular with professionals wishing to increase their skill level.
