How relevant do you think Salon Melbourne is to industry professionals in hair and beauty?
Salon Melbourne is vital for the industry as it provides educational seminars, all in the one place. It's incredibly important to get the best in the industry together sharing information and skills to the next generation.

How will your session make a difference to their professional skill and technique?
After my session I'm hoping hairdressers will realize how important precision work is and how important it is to get the very best training available. My session will demonstrate how precision work and keeping techniques simple you can achieve anything with hair.

How important do you think attendance to expos such as Salon Melbourne are for industry professionals?
It's very important to see big attendances at these events. I feel industry leaders should be there to influence aspiring hairdressers to attend. The more people attending the bigger noise will be made and more inspiration will come from it…. To make this industry even more professional we need to make an even bigger effort to get together and inspire each other.

What is your number one piece of advice for someone trying to break into the industry?
My number one piece of advice would be is to surround yourself with people that love their work never stop training and have an open mind, these traits are infectious and you are bound to succeed.

Trend forecast for 2012 or favourite trend at the moment?
Fractured fringes is probably my favorite thing to do at the moment.
