How to Engage your Clients

Businesses are jumping on the e marketing bandwagon with many choosing to connect with their clients via the internet using video content.

Online video is one of the fastest-growing trends which provide an array of online marketing possibilities including video content sharing via social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, video newsletters, client testimonials and educational tutorials.

“Online videos can optimise your business through product demos, video tutorials, brand presentations, customer testimonials, event coverage and special announcements. Businesses are really benefiting with online videos as they are getting roughly 96 per cent higher click-through rates and connecting in a more direct way with their clients,” Charbel Azar, managing director of Coloursock productions says.

According to Kerrin Sheldon from Fast Company, short-form video is the future of marketing because more and more users are consuming their video entertainment online. In April 2012, ComScore reported that the average viewer watched nearly 22 hours of video in a single month.

“Vimeo and Youtube are also amazing teaching grounds, with tons of professional how-to and DIY videos. The result is a huge influx of high-quality video, which can only mean more viewers, more shares and more enjoyment for all,” Kerrin says in his article, Short-Form Video is the Future of Marketing.

“Online videos are high-impact and you can target your audience, so it’s the most effective way of showcasing your business to not only existing clients but to new ones,” Charbel says.
