There’s Something for Everyone at These 6 Upcoming Industry Events

For those in the professional beauty industry, calendars are filling up fast with an assortment of exciting events.

Here are 6 beauty industry events happening across May and June 2023:

1. Babes That Bronze Brunch / Sunday 7 May

Hosted by three-time salon owner and founder of Bella Bronze Tan Jasmine Scarr, this half-day event will run at The Lussh in QLD’s Woolloongabba. The intimate brunch will feature a line-up of business-minded speakers sharing tips and tricks on elevating your salon offering; we’re talking the likes of Timely’s Tamara Reid, Socials for Salons’ Kayla Zigic, and Counting on Kimberley’s Kimbery Haworth. Topics to be discussed include skin education, increasing your ROI, social media, client retention, consultation and money mindset tips. For those interstate, the event will also run virtually. 2. LEVEL UP – Your Knowledge, Your Profits and Your Results / Friday 19 May

Device Consulting will host this professionals-only aesthetic industry event at The Hilton, Sydney NSW later this month. The all-day event will feature various speakers, from Synergie Skin’s Terri Vinson, to Nutritional Medicine Practitioner Chiza Westcarr. Presentations will include clinical case studies, as well as talks on how to partner skin and device modalities, female sexual health, and makeup trends. 3. BrowzaCon / Saturday 27 May

BrowzaCon is the newest industry event to sink your teeth into, launching in 2023. Hosted at Brisbane’s Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in QLD, BrowzaCon will showcase some of the country’s biggest brands in beauty and permanent makeup (PMU). Guests are invited to peruse up to 65 stalls hosted by brands to learn more on their product and education offerings. Two stages will host industry experts – from the likes of Ellebana’s Otto Mitter to Australian Colour Technologies’ Georgie Westley – for live demonstrations. 4. Regional Beauty Long Lunch / Sunday 4 June –> rescheduled to Sunday November 12 2023 (updated 12/05/23)

Running for a second time since its series launch is the Regional Beauty Long Lunch, this time in Bundaberg, QLD. The event will be hosted by Karen Geiszler and feature nine highly-regarded industry speakers, such as Rebecca Miller, Dr Donna Lee Marcal, and Vanessa McDonald. The all-day event is designed to connect beauty and aesthetic practitioners over topics of interest to regional business owners. 5. Naturally Good / Monday 5 – Tuesday 6 June

For those interested in the wellness and sustainability spaces, this one’s for you. While this much-loved B2B event has been running for several years, 2023 will see the launch of a Conscious Consumption Zone designed to showcase products demonstrating positive social, economic and environmental impact. Beauty and personal care are two major categories for the event, with 250 exhibitors – including brands and suppliers – already announced. The Naturally Good Business Summit will also run, and the winners of the Naturally Good Awards will be announced. The event will run at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney, NSW. 6. Non-Surgical Symposium / Friday 23 – Sunday 25 June

Produced by The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), the 2023 Non-Surgical Symposium is designed for healthcare professionals and those working in the aesthetic medicine space. The event will feature a series of presentations on a range of topics, such as facial aesthetics, skin rejuvenation using laser and energy-based devices, non-surgical body contouring, wellness, and menopausal skin.
