Bodyography Professional Cosmetics launched its first Australian Bodyography Academy in Melbourne on Tuesday November 17, 2009.
The Academy is located in the company’s headquarters at 566 Elizabeth Street, in Melbourne.
Bodyography Director, Rob Tamburro said: “This Academy will be the first of many aimed at training the professional makeup artist and consumers alike. Education is the key to creating the excitement of Bodyography while remaining a true professional range and capturing the eye of the consumer through our creative photo shoots and working along fashion designers.”
Tamburro said that since launching in Australia one year ago, Bodyography now has a presence in over 200 salons across the country and is used by 100 makeup artists. The Bodyography artistic team has worked on events including the Australian Hair Fashion Awards, at a photo shoot for Sydney fashion designer Bowie, with Richard Mannah for Toni and Guy and many other fashion designers. In October 2009 the Bodyography artistic team was called upon to create the makeup for Beyonce’s band members while they were on tour in Australia.
