Australian Salon-Stocked Brands Win Big at Global Makeup Awards, Asia Edition

Winners of the ASIA 2023 Global Makeup Awards were announced recently, with Australian brands taking home top gongs.

Awards were allocated to participating makeup brands based in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and many more.

Skin o2 took home the Gold and Silver titles for Best Foundation for its MINERAL COMPACT SPF50+ and Mineral BB Foundation respectively.

INIKA Organic’s Matte Perfection Primer won Gold in the Best Eye Product category, followed by Runway Room Cosmetics’ First Base Hydrating Primer that won Silver.

INIKA Organic also won Silver in the Best Natural Product category for its Lipstick, and Silver in the Best Innovative Beauty Product category for its Phyto-Active Face Oil.

The Global Makeup Awards and Global Green Beauty Awards are judged by a team of anonymous makeup and beauty experts from the industry.

“The main judging criteria is product effectiveness, so only those products which the judges see and feel results from will be able to win,” states the competition website.

Other professional brands, such as Murad, Eco by Sonya Driver, Zuii Organic, and Guinot are also previous salon brand award-winners.

Winners of the competition will be featured in Global Makeup Magazine, will receive a certificate, winners’ badge, and trophy on request.
