Sydney Organic Expo seeks natural beauty brands

The Organic Expo & Green Show returns to Sydney in 2010 offering brands the chance to showcase their latest green and organic products to over 8000 enthusiastic consumers and qualified trade visitors.

Held from August 20 to 22 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, the expo provides the chance to participate in what is billed as Oceania Pacific’s largest organic and green living expo.

There will be over 180 exhibitors from six different categories. Organic and green beauty brands are especially encouraged to exhibit. The categories include: Food, Wine & Beverage / Mother, Baby & Kids / Building, House & Garden / Health, Personal Care and Beauty / Professional Services / Fashion & Manchester.

Now in its sixth year, the show will also hold for the first time a two-day trade conference ‘Sustainable Profits’ over Thursday 19 and Friday 20 August. Featuring keynote speaker Katherine DiMatteo, President of IFOAM and Executive Director of Organic Trade Association, the conference will focus on relevant industry and business topics and cover the latest domestic and international trends in the Organic and Green industry. The Biological Farmers of Australia will also showcase their latest market report with new consumer research.

Mary Hackett, Director, from organisers, Smeaton Hackett Events, said:

“If you represent a green or organic beauty brand this is the place for you to be seen! The Organic Expo & Green Show represents the largest gathering of organic and green brands each year, giving you the ideal platform to show your peers and the market place that you are a serious participant in this rapidly growing industry."
