Spring into Sydney Expo

This year’s Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo takes place in September, bringing more innovation, a fresh vision and a new focus on the spa and beauty business spectrum. Leading brands Payot, Thalgo, Youngblood, Dermalogica, Essie, OPI, Sothys, Pelativ, Danné Montague-King and Minx Nails will be exhibiting this year.

‘Health and Wellbeing’ is again a focus, with the themed Concept Spa area taking visitors on a sensory journey to demonstrate the latest customer service techniques.

Innovative technologies, the newest spa and beauty trends and a stellar lineup of industry professionals are the main draw cards at this year’s expo.

Rae Morris will weave her makeup magic in another round of her popular advanced workshops, indispensable for all budding makeup artists. Elly Lukas Beauty College returns for 2010, hosting two interactive workshops: Eyelash Extension and Sound Therapy, with live demonstrations and the latest application techniques.

Makeup artist, Max May, will appear live on the main stage, sharing the secret of his success with demos of the latest trends in makeup. Visitors will be inspired by the Makeup Awards where competitors battle across two categories – this year, it’s Super Heroes and Villains and Brides through the Ages. Daily catwalk shows and the Nail Awards will ensure that there is one busy expo schedule.

Visitors can try a new manicure at the Nail Bar or network over a glass of bubbly in the brand new Champagne Lounge.

The expo will be held on September 4 and 5, 2010 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 10am to 5pm daily. Registration opens in June and is accessed at: www.internationalbeautyexpo.com.au
