Salon Melbourne announces new additions to the event

Salon Melbourne organisers, Reed Exhibitions, recently announced some exciting additions to the inaugural combined hair and beauty industry event.

World renowned makeup artist Natasha Severino (pictured, at the 2009 Sydney Beauty Expo) and session hair stylist Kenneth Stoddart will present a live hair and makeup demo together on Saturday April 17 at lunchtime. Natasha and Kenneth will do hair and makeup concurrently on two models; their charismatic performance styles and breadth of experience in the business sure to make this one of the must-see events at Salon Melbourne. The audience will receive an unprecedented insight into the technical elements required to create a fashion-driven look, with both Natasha and Kenneth sharing their insider hints and tips for all aspiring international hair and makeup artists. Showcasing upcoming trends and cutting edge styles, the one-hour demo will take place on the main stage and is open to all visitors.

Body artist Yolanda Bartram of Body FX will showcase her ground-breaking body art at the expo. She will present a live 30-minute demo in the morning on both days at the event, completing the artwork throughout the day live on the exhibition floor. With a different inspiration each day, Yolanda’s eye-catching body art is sure to grab the attention of all visitors and be an inspirational event.

Salon Melbourne will culminate in a spectacular fashion show. Set to push the boundaries of innovation, the fashion shows will focus around themes like ‘Pretty in Prints’, ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Glitterati’.
