Organic beauty showcased at Sydney Spa & Beauty Expo

Organic spa and beauty brands will again be showcased at this year’s Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo.

Certified organic brands have the opportunity to exhibit at the largest spa and beauty expo in Australia where 10,000+ professionals will be searching for the latest new and exciting ranges to stock in their business.

Brands such as Organic Spa, Babor and Mi Essence are set to showcase this year to take advantage of the increasing demand for organic products in spas and beauty salons.

Katrina Milham, Brand Manager for Organic Spa, a principal brand in the sector, commented:

“Last year, we were thrilled to be part of the specific organic section and as a result had a very successful show. The designated area drew like-minded clients to explore organics for the professional beauty industry. Other organic orientated expos which we attend still allow natural and non-certified brands to exhibit. The beauty expo has gone one step further, ensuring that all brands in their organic section are organic and certified.”

Those exhibitors recognised by certifying body, Australian Certified Organic (ACO), will sit alongside the association within the new ACO pavilion, whilst representatives from the board will be on hand to ease new salon, spa and brand professionals into the world of organics.

Akiko Nicholls, ACO Managing Director, said the presence of an organic section at the expo is a further indication of growing industry interest in organic products:

“It’s excellent that organics can be part of a beauty industry expo; this is a major step in the recognition of organic beauty care products in Australia”

To exhibit within the show’s Organic sector, products must be certified organic by a trusted Australian or international certification body.

The Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo 2010 takes place on 4th and 5th September 2010 from 10am-5pm daily at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre.
