World Beauty Summit approaches – and Environ wins award

Dr Fernandes, founder of Envrion, wins award for innovation at the World Beauty Fair

The World Beauty Innovation Summit is being held 9-10 June in Vienna, Austria –  Environ’s Dr Des Fernandes will be awarded for his cosmeceutical brand’s innovation at the exclusive event.

The World beauty Innovation Summit (created by organiser INNOCOS) is just a week away. An exclusive gathering of senior marketing and innovation executives, this event has pitched itself as an exclusive and high-level executive event for around one hundred corporate execs from some of the world’s most influential beauty brands (think Beiersdorf, Amway, Unilever and Sephora).

At this 2-day event, held in Vienna, Dr Fernandes will be awarded the winner of the INNOCOS 2016 Innovator of the Year in the Product Category.

Dr Fernandes, internationally-recognised plastic and cosmetic surgeon and founder of Environ, has been recognised for his leadership style and positive impact on the cosmetics industry; an award he says he is very “proud and honoured” to receive on behalf of his team.

“Since 1990, the amazing Environ team and I have made every effort to make the best cosmetic products in the world,” says the South African-based Dr Fernandes.

With Dr Fernandes’ long career as a practicing cosmetic surgeon and his company vision to create the most effective skincare products that current science permits, using only rigorously researched ingredients, Envrion is a skincare brand that looks to the future.

“As a practicing cosmetic surgeon, Dr Fernandes clearly has an in-depth knowledge of human skin and associate cosmetic challenges,” says a joint statement from the InnoCos judging panel. “His Step-Up approach used in salons by skincare experts shows a great innovation combining medical knowledge with cosmetic formulation and close customer input. His broadened activities with other vitamins and their derivatives will bring further benefits to the consumer.”
