Hosted by celebrity makeup artist Michael Brown, OFRA Cosmetics introduced Sydney beauty editors to their international hero product RCK (Red Carpet Kolour) over breakfast at the stylish QT Sydney. The RCK body glow formula, delivering vitamins A, C and K with Aloe Vera and Sweet Almond Oil to nourish the skin across three shades (light, medium and tan), was lovingly dubbed a ‘filter for the body’ by Brown

Trusted by some of the world’s most celebrated red carpet stars including Denise Richards, Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria, RCK is the work of celebrity makeup artist Joanna Schlip and OFRA Cosmetic Laboratories – its first foray into the Australian market a seemingly natural step for the brand.

“After the positive reception of the product in South Africa and other countries, we did a small survey in Australia, which indicated the product would be well received. Above that, Ofra Gaito the creator of OFRA Cosmetics began her salon career in South Africa and quickly expanded it to Australia and New Zealand in her early days. So she has very fond memories of Australia and is very excited that her own brand is hitting Australian shores in her absences,” said OFRA Cosmetics’ Colin Sternberg.

“The products will be introduced to the Australian market in small groupings, as we test what the Australian public will enjoy the most. We will begin with our most exciting and innovative products first; for example RCK and soon to Australia “3D Eye shadow”. However stockist's can order any products they have a calling for directly and we’ll arrange for them to be shipped over,” Sternberg added.

A favourite of makeup artists worldwide, each product is produced to order and not warehoused for months before shipping – delivering makeup artists the freshest product possible. PETA and Leaping Bunny registered, the brand is cruelty free with its products both non-comodogenic and hypoallergenic.

Already planning their next launch, OFRA Cosmetics look forward to showcasing their range at the International Spa & Beauty Expo as well as IMATS later this year and are currently working with a number of stockists and distributors to ensure the product is easily available to salons and make-up artists.
