New skincare brand Pure & Green Organics launched its range of organic products on 29th October in a show of eco conscience and natural sensibility.

Newtown restaurant The Peasant’s Feast – was a fitting location for the launch, as one of the only Australian Certified Organic (ACO) restaurants in Sydney.

Guests sipped organic wine or beer as they viewed the range, comprising face and body care, hair care and dental products.

There were no bold declarations about organic status – the brand is quietly confident in its simple truth, supported by the ACO certification stamp on every single label.

Amazingly, Pure & Green Organics is the only company in the world that has had every product in the entire range certified by the ACO – one of the highest levels of organic certification available.

In addition to being made in Australia, Pure & Green Organics ingredients are sourced predominantly from in and around the country; between 70 to 100 per cent of the ingredients in any one product are Australian-grown.

The products are presented in eco-friendly packaging, are cruelty free, 100 per cent vegan and free of palm oil to protect Orangutan habitats in South East Asia – further exemplifying the brand’s environmental ethos.

Pure & Green Organics founders Grace Culhaci (along with her partner and husband Sam) gave a background into the development of the brand.

ACO Managing Director Akiko Nicholls spoke about the ACO’s role in certifying the entire Pure & Green’s pioneering product range.

The crowd listened attentively while nibbling on organic tapas, rye bread and a trio of dips including beetroot, hummus and babaganoush.

Guests left with a selection of products to try – and the Pure & Green philosophy firmly ingrained in their minds: real organic body care, without compromise.
