Dermalogica named Corporate Honoree at Step Up Awards in LA

Dermalogica were recently privileged to the Corporate Honoree at the 8th annual Step Up Women’s Network Inspiration Awards in Los Angeles.

The Step Up Women’s Network is a national, non-profit membership organisation dedicated to connecting and advancing women and girls. By bridging communities of professional women and underserved teen girls through mentorship, networking and advancement, it ensures women and girls have the opportunities they need to create a better future.

The Step Up Women’s Network Inspiration Awards are held annually to honor those who embody the Step Up mission of service to women and girls.

There were a myriad of celebrities who attended the event, including Mad Men's Christina Hendricks (a Dermalogica fan), Catherin Hardwicke (Director of Twilight and Red Riding Hood), Nikki Reed (star of The Twilight Saga), and Busy Philipps of Cougar Town, who introduced Jane Wurwand and presented her with the award, which she proudly accepted on behalf of Dermalogica.

Jane took the opportunity to speak on Dermalogica’s 25-year legacy of skin health and women entrepreneurship, and how this legacy inspired join FITE: the not-for-profit organisation that Dermalogica helped start with microfinance organisation www.kiva.org, to help 25,000 women start or grow their own businesses.
