General Expo Floor 1

From education to inspiration, sourcing to networking, Salon Melbourne in 2014 celebrates its fifth annual instalment of all things beauty, medi, grooming, hair and spa.

This year’s show will again take place over the days of Sunday March 23 and Monday March 24, providing salon and spa staff more opportunity to fit the event into their schedules.

“Salon Melbourne has experienced continuous growth since its inception back in 2010”, says Event Director, Julia Erben. “As one of the only trade shows to combine both hair and beauty, it provides the Victorian market with a unique industry event that delivers unparalleled value for professional growth. From salon owners to beauty school students, Salon Melbourne 2014 will have something on show for everyone”.

A focus on education

Rae Morris - At Work

Kicking off the 2014 show is an increased focus on education. The introduction of a new cost-effective Education Pass for $249, which applies to selected education sessions, will enable visitors to attend three seminars of their choice and enjoy even greater bang for their buck. Whether it’s practical beauty skills or business strategy, Salon Melbourne 2014 will deliver a diverse education schedule with plenty of choice.

Education highlights:

  • Suzie Hoitink on age management and a practical perspective on how results-orientated skincare treatments can be linked to success
  • New sessions on body art and body sugaring
  • Rae Morris on makeup: trends and techniques
  • Jazz Pampling on the art of brow-shaping

Bringing education to new world-class heights, 2014 sees the introduction of selected seminars being held in an auditorium space. With tiered seating and projection screens for improved visibility, a seat in these classes will ensure you don’t miss a thing.
