OPI at New York Fashion Week

OPI Nail Lacquer has been all over the catwalks at New York Fashion Week working with fashion designers including Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Max Azria and Charlotte Ronson.

New York Fashion Week has seen some of the world’s hottest designers unveil their Spring/Summer 2011 collections.

OPI was behind the scenes ensuring that each look was flawless. The colour choices ranged between light neutrals to bright patterns, looking fabulous on the hands of the runway models.

Max Azria used OPI shade Coney Island Cotton Candy to complement the soft tones of each breezy garment.

Rebecca Taylor paired her soft, chic line with OPI shades I’m Suzi and I’m a Chocoholic for the model's fingernails and Barefoot in Barcelona for their toes.

OPI shade Samoan Sand was the finger and toe nail color of choice at the Charlotte Ronson show, where grunge-inspired creations met feminine floral and sheer fabrics.

Zac Posen took a walk on the wild side with vivid nail art and bright colors and designs.

Judging by the reaction of the audience, we will no doubt be seeing the use of multi-colours on Spring's most fashionable nails.

Posen's models wore a combination of OPI shades Alpine Snow, ‘It’ color, What’s With the Cattitude and Who the Shrek are You? Black Onyx was used to create a bold cheetah-like design, while a combination of Alpine Snow, Chopsticking to my Story, No Room for the Blues and That’s Hot Pink made for unique square-pattern tips.
